Smile!

Have you ever looked back and realised how our smiles have changed over the years?

The most genuine smiles were during our childhood, school or college days with our friends and cousins. The concavity of our smiles has reduced with our increasing age. The curve has flattened as worries, tensions and pressures have mounted over the years. It is not that we do not smile but the innocence and the frequency has been buried deep down many fears and anxieties.

Earlier simple things used to bring a smile to our faces, now in-spite of having all the material things, a genuine smile has become like “once in a blue moon” kind of a thing. Life is too short and unpredictable, till we realise this half of it has already been over, so try to be happy with small things in life, be content with what has come our way and not fret about the things we do not have. Once we accept things the way they are, it becomes easier to handle the situation. We also realise, it is not difficult to smile as such. So keep smiling and spreading the cheer because smiles are contagious!
